This month, we will have two celebrations in one. February 14 is a day that will see the Chinese community celebrating Chinese New Year and couples in love celebrating Valentine's Day.
So, what do you do if you do not fall into both of these categories and you know there are some of you who will profess "Valentine's Day is just a money-making scheme aimed at the hopeless romantic to spend at least RM 300 for a meal and that's not inclusive of gifts and flowers!"
Don't say that just yet. Even though you are a singleton out there, there's still plenty you can do as suggested by this article we found on Askmen.com.
- Have a party!
Gather all your single friends out there and go congregate at a spot. It could be a house party, a barbeque or even a short outstation trip. It's going to be a long holiday with the spillover to the working week. It's the best time to have a get together without worrying much of deadlines for the next couple of days.
- Make it a 'treat' day
Go all out and pamper yourself. No holds barred. Go for the spa you've been putting off for a later date. Book yourself in for a mani/pedi session at that nail bar and if you're willing to go a little further do an all relaxing facial.
