Organised by the U.S. Embassy, this is the second time the Democracy Video Challenge is happening. It's a worldwide competition aimed at enhancing the global dialogue on democracy, and budding filmmakers are encouraged to submit short videos that complete the phrase, 'Democracy is...'. Videos can be submitted online via YouTube.

The seven winning videos will be selected by global online voting, and the winners will get all-expense paid trips to the United States, including screenings of their videos in New York, Hollywood and Washington, meetings with film directors, public officials and democracy advocates from NGOs and visits to film and TV sets. - Time Out KL.
