When we started The Circle about eight months ago, never did we imagine how much student talent we have out there. From graphic design, to fashion and flair for the written word, to photography and design we were thoroughly impressed by the work that we received from the various colleges and universities.
Malaysian Today established The Circle, a student collective, with the intention of promoting your precious work for all to see and appreciate. Realising your potential and being very serious about providing the youths with a credible platform and  lend publicity, which could actually come into the thousands of ringgit, we decided to support this cause... FOC, just for you.
And through this initiative, we have grown to include yet another scouting avenue to tap the musical genius in you - our SyokShock nights at Mardi Gras every Thursday, which comes to a close for this year, tomorrow night.
Even during these events, where we've managed to highlight many, many great bands - up and coming and the more established ones - we made a conscious effort to display and exhibit works that were featured in The Circle, via Malaysian Today.
Yes, we are serious about you because we believe in you, we believe in your capabilities and talents, and we are not just an entity that talks but walks the talk. So, for the year 2010, we hope you take advantage of our special space for you in The Circle and send in your works for us to publish and be proud of.
